How I got here.
My career journey started with a map.
Blending my academic concentrations of art and economics, my first job out of college was at an art publishing company, producing and licensing art that you might find at Target, Bed Bath & Beyond (RIP), and on your coffee mug. One day, I was handling a 500-year-old Italian map for a Restoration Hardware project, and I felt called to save it.
So I took a leap of faith. I quit my job and moved to Washington, D.C. to apprentice in the art conservation lab at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. While that experience was everything I had hoped for and more, I soon added: “project manager,” “freelance copywriter,” “college admissions essay consultant,” and “tour guide” to my title.
Eventually, strategic account work, communications, and project management satisfied my need to balance the creative with the achievable. Now, some of my favorite projects involve mapping products and location-based tech.

Art
No longer my career calling, fine art will always be my passion. I am an amateur painter and am the happiest when I’m at the National Gallery of Art or the Isabella Stewart Gardner.
Play
Scrabble, Catan, Monopoly, Mahjong, Scattergories, NYT Crosswords, I love them all. I strongly believe games have the power to make us better and to bridge generations, cultures, and relationships of all kinds.
Exploration
Whether it’s traveling to a new country, visiting a beloved museum, or checking out a new corner of a familiar city, I am always on the move. I blame my insatiable curiosity on having been raised by two entrepreneurs.
Family
After 15 years on the East Coast, I recently moved to Oklahoma City with my husband, Patrick, and our opinionated corgi, Rufus. We cheer for the Nationals and daydream about running away to Maine.
